The Arden Foodbank is pleased to report another successful holiday food drive.
Working with two local primary schools, the foodbank delivered Easter parcels to 29 families prior to the start of the school holidays. In total, 310 kg of food stock were distributed. To mark the holiday, the parcels also included hot cross buns and Easter eggs for the children to enjoy.
The Foodbank would like to thank Waitrose and local residents for their generous donations and local volunteers for helping to put together and deliver these parcels.
