MP visits Alcester Foodbank

We were delighted to welcome Manuela Perteghella MP to our foodbank in Alcester on Friday 6 December to meet our volunteers and some of our clients. She was keen to hear all about our work and to talk about how we are helping local people who are struggling to even afford the essentials.

While she was with us she was very interested to see our tablecloth with comments from clients, volunteers and others supporting Trussell’s campaign to ensure universal credit is sufficient to ensure everyone is able to afford the essentials. Manuella added her name and pledged to support that campaign.
