Record number of Christmas packs delivered to schools

Over a two day period in December, Arden Foodbank was busy packing 226 Christmas hampers and delivering them to our local primary schools, for distribution to families who need a little extra help this Christmas. That’s 2.5 tons, packed into 452 bags and delivered to 10 schools, by 27 volunteers. Each child received two Christmas bags. One containing store cupboard essentials. The other with special Christmas extras to go under the Christmas tree. None of this would have been possible without the generosity of local people and businesses who donated food and money. #FightingHungerTogether
