Team Arden Foodbank Out And About in January

Meet Mary, one of our volunteers in Studley. Mary is a keen walker, and in January she completed the Walk 62 Miles Challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK to help fund life-saving research. She set herself a target of walking 2 miles a day, to raise £600. Well, she smashed it! Mary walked an amazing 142 miles, that’s 356,047 steps, and has raised £935 to date, with some donations still to be collected. I think we can safely say, that Team Arden Foodbank has its very own record breaker! Many many congratulations Mary. We are all incredibly proud of you.
