An amazing 442kgs of food donated at Waitrose October Food Drive

Thank you so much to everyone who supported our October food drive at Waitrose in Alcester. This is just one of many trolleys of food donated during the day. In total, 442kgs, almost half a tonne, and £107 was raised. We are blown away by everyone’s generosity, which  will enable us to provide local people with around 530 meals.

Our volunteers who enjoyed greeting shoppers throughout the day, were supported by our MP, Manuela Perteghella, and Susan Juned, leader of Stratford on Avon district Council who called by to support us. A huge thank you to them, to the staff at Waitrose for all your support and for making us feel so welcome, and to our volunteers without whom none of this would be possible. #EndingHungerTogether
