We’re entering an exciting new chapter!
On 20 November, Arden Foodbank officially became Arden Foodbank CIO — an independent charity and member of the Trussell network.
Founded in 2012 by St Nicholas Church, Alcester, we remain deeply committed to all our church and community partners. With their support — and the dedication of our amazing volunteers — we’ll continue providing emergency food to people in crisis.
But we’re also growing.
Over the coming years, we’ll be developing new community hubs, warm, welcoming spaces where anyone can access practical support, advice, signposting, and opportunities to build confidence and independence.
The hubs will bring partners together under one roof to help tackle the root causes of food poverty — whether that’s low income, debt, ill health, isolation or other challenges. We want everyone who comes to us to feel valued, respected and supported, not just during a crisis but beyond it.
Thank you for standing with us as we take this exciting step forward.
