We would like to give a huge shout out and heartfelt thank you to all the pupils at Studley High School who took part in a fantastic four-week whole school food drive to support local people in need.
Over the course of the campaign, students, their families and school staff came together to donate an astonishing 863 items of food. The generosity of the school community added up to an incredible 360 kilograms of food, which will help provide more than 400 meals for local people who are struggling to afford even the most basic essentials.
The food drive also included a friendly competition between the school houses, with students working hard to collect as many donations as possible. Congratulations go to Griffin House, who claimed the top spot with an impressive 315 items donated, securing the win.
It was a very close contest, however, with Phoenix House finishing in a strong second place and missing the top position by just two items of food — an incredible effort that helped push the overall total even higher.
We want to say a massive thank you once again to all the pupils, their families and the staff at Studley High School for their kindness, generosity and community spirit. Your support is making a real difference to local families who need it most.
You are all amazing.
