💚 A donation with a very special story

Last week we collected a donation from a gentleman whose generosity came with a very personal story.
His son is getting married next Friday, and a local farmer has kindly let them use his field for parking for the wedding celebrations. Rather than charging for the use of the field, the farmer simply asked him to make a donation. 💚
He chose Arden Foodbank because his brother, who sadly passed away last year, had used a foodbank himself.
What started as a request for a donation has turned into something very meaningful – helping local people who may be facing a difficult time, while remembering someone very special.
We are so grateful to both the farmer for his generosity and to this gentleman for choosing to support us.
And finally, congratulations to the happy couple! 💍🥂 We hope they have a wonderful wedding day.
