This autumn, our local community has once again shown incredible generosity in supporting Arden Foodbank through our Harvest Appeal.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the schools, churches, community groups, businesses and individuals across Alcester, Studley and the surrounding villages who have supported our Harvest campaign. Every donation, whether a few tins or a whole collection, helps us provide essential food and household items to local people facing hardship.
Bringing our community together
Harvest is a time to celebrate the food we have and give thanks for the abundance around us. It is also an opportunity to remember those who are struggling to put food on the table.
We have been delighted by the support shown by our local community, with Harvest collections helping to bring people together for a shared purpose: ensuring that no one in our community has to face going hungry.
The generosity of local schools, churches and community groups plays a vital role in keeping our foodbank stocked and ready to support people when they need us most.
Every donation makes a difference
For many households, rising living costs and unexpected financial pressures can make it difficult to afford everyday essentials. The food and household items donated through our Harvest Appeal help us provide emergency support to individuals and families experiencing crisis.
Since September 2025, Arden Foodbank has provided emergency food and support to more than 1,700 people. Behind every one of those numbers is a person or family who has needed a helping hand.
Your donations help us continue to offer practical support, a warm welcome and signposting to further advice and assistance.
Thank you for your kindness
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to organise a collection, donate items, deliver donations or encourage others to get involved. We would also like to thank our dedicated volunteers, whose hard work ensures that donated food reaches the people who need it.
The support we receive from our local community makes a real difference, and we could not continue our work without you.
Thank you for helping us turn the spirit of Harvest into practical support, hope and kindness for local people.
You can support Arden Foodbank all year round
Although Harvest is a special time for giving, our need for donations continues throughout the year.
You can donate food and essential items at our collection points in Waitrose in Alcester, Aldi in Studley and the Co-op in Studley. Please check our website for our current shopping list to see which items are most needed.
If you are a school, church, business or community group interested in supporting Arden Foodbank, we would love to hear from you.
Together, we can help ensure that everyone in our community has access to the food and support they need.
Thank you for being part of Team Arden.
