Arden Foodbank Out and About at Alcester Food Festival

Our volunteers enjoyed a lovely day meeting people visiting our small stand on Church Green outside St.Nicholas’Church this May. Thank you to everyone who came to talk to us to find out more about our work to combat poverty. Trussell’s UK Roadmap identifies 8 building blocks to ending the need for Foodbanks, and our small Kerplunk model showed how people have many obstacles to overcome before escaping poverty.

Many thanks too to St.Nicholas’ Church for supporting us with cakes in the church, and to our volunteers who helped on the day, Helen, Christine, Sophie, and most of all to Janet for all her hard work in organising the day for us.
